The LIFE Project is dedicated to promoting sustainable livelihoods in the food sector, which includes supporting industry workers through skills-matching workshops, job placement services and follow-on support.
Workforce development features
- Two, eight-hour days of in-class and hands-on training in the industry's most valued skills: hygiene and service
- Food safety and hygiene skills are reinforced in the kitchen, and certified by the Ministry of Education
- Food Service Staff training developed uniquely for the LIFE Project give food sector workers a competitive advantage in the job market
Those who complete the two days of training and pass the exam for food safety and hygiene earn graduation certificates from the Ministry of Education and the LIFE Project to present to prospective employers.
